The HSE is being asked to outline future plans for the former Primary Care Centre in Cliffoney. The building has been lying idle for some time and there are concerns locally that it will fall into a serious state of disrepair. It's thought that if the HSE has no immediate plans, the building should be made available for community use and additional parking for the adjacent primary school. Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council and Fianna Fail Cllr Donal Gilroy says there are already safety concerns in the area, owing to school drop offs and this he feels would be a solution:
