Sligo Councillor calls for immediate implementation County Development Plan.

A Sligo Councillor is today calling for the immediate implementation of the Final Ministerial Order for the Sligo County Development Plan. Cllr Edel McSharry, claims the ongoing delay are an active barrier to progress, housing delivery, and sound planning across the county. The Local Authority in Sligo adopted the Development Plan twelve months however the Department of Housing has failed to issue the Final Ministerial Order. The Sligo Drumcliff Councillor says the Government has publicly called for more housing delivery, yet its own inaction is preventing the delivery of houses:
