Sligo Junior Minister claims that Taoiseach and Tánaiste want a greenway in Sligo.

A North West Junior Minister says bot the Taoiseach and Tánaiste, are committed to the development of a greenway in Sligo. Minister Marian Harkin while acknowledging the ongoing debate over the reintroduction of railway infrastructure highlighted the need for a realistic, achievable solution now.  The Greenway is seen as a vital asset for local communities and tourism, offering a tangible benefit today. Speaking to Ocean FM News Minister Marian Harkin says we can deliver the Greenway now, and work towards the railway later.
