Slither (2006)

As the holidays inch closer and we begin to settle into our cozy winter attire more and more, there could be no more appropriate film to usher into the (WHATEVER YOU CELEBRATE) season than James Gunn's 2006 gruesome horror comedy, Slither! From start to finish this is quite a ride. And if you're like me and you like hearing about horror more than seeing horror, then don't miss this one. All the gruesome details without actually having to experience any of it. Wheelsy is a small town where not much happens and everyone minds his own business. No one notices when evil slips in quietly but, when people find mutilated livestock and a woman goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) discovers an alien organism that threatens to devour all life on Earth.
