Specjalną edycję piątkowych Ultradźwięków poświęciliśmy spotkaniom z prowadzącymi najciekawsze warsztaty muzyczne na tegorocznym Slocie. Pierwszym z nich był Madou Konte: pochodzący z Senegalu wirtuoz kory, zachodnioafrykańskiej syntezy lutni i harfy. 21 strun zostało wprawionych w ruch na żywo na naszej antenie, kojąc eter brzmieniem delikatnym, zarazem na tyle skomplikowanym, że trudno byłoby oddać je na jakimkolwiek innym instrumencie. Madou Konte przybliżył również historię i role, jakie w społeczności Mandinka odgrywa grupa griotów: bardów, pieśniarzy i poetów, ale przy tym również dworskich doradców, których muzyka pełni funkcje nie tylko artystyczne, lecz także administracyjne.
