SlothBoogie Guestmix #335 - Jon Sable

from SlothBoogie Podcast · host SlothBoogie

Having lived in a mixture of NYC and London over the last 10 years, New Zealand's Jon Sable has returned to his native land to raise his newborn son. It's from his new (familiar) base where he will continue to run In Dust We Trust, his record label co-owned and operated with Chaos in the CBD. There's a cheeky forthcoming release from the label at the 26min mark, so keep an ear out for that. His talent isn't limited to DJing and Label A&R, he also cuts his teeth in the studio and is due to release in 2022 on IDWT and long time SB lovers, Wolf Music. Expect a large dollop of dub, with sprinklings of electro and interplanetary love letters in the mix. "I recorded the mix at our new place in New Zealand on a rainy day, while our son was napping in the next room. My records finally arrived from London via sea freight and they came just in time to record this. I hope you like it!"
