SlothBoogie Guestmix #358 - Kim Anh

from SlothBoogie Podcast · host SlothBoogie

"I recorded this mix during the last days of summer. I spent a lot of the summer in Europe, gigging and swimming along the coasts of Italy. I wanted to preserve those feelings of joy, tranquillity and lushness in a soundtrack that could be revisited any time of the year. The mix ends on a special track by Eli Escobar and I called “Take Me,” released earlier this year." Dj/ producer Kim Anh has been serving her diva-soaked and acid-laced sound for well over a decade. Once dubbed by Vice as a “club queen” she has been a long-time figure in the underground queer club scene. With appearances on several labels such as Gigolo Int’l, Afro Acid and Robert Johnson Live she is now at the helm of her New York based record label Can U Not Talk.
