In this edition of the Slovakia Today programme, we introduce Sofia Zahova from the Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Institute of Foreign Languages at the University of Iceland. Sofia explains the intricacies of Romani literature not only on the Slovak literary scene, but abroad as well. A great part of Romani literature consists of "paramisa" - fairy tales. We invite you to listen to Melalo and Death, a fairy tale written by a famous Slovak-Romani writer and activist Elena Lacková.
