On 21 August, 1968, Soviet union-led Warsaw pact troops invaded the territory of its member, the then Czechoslovak Republic, to halt the liberalisation process. On this occasion, RSI is presenting the journalist Agnesa Kalinova, the significant voice of Radio Free Europe who would have turned 100 this year. Presenting her is her daughter Julia Sherwood. In this part of our summer series of interviews with US citizens searching for their Slovak heritage, Zuzana Botikova is speaking to the head of the National Slovak Society of the United States. In the culture news, also an invitation to a special display "Empty chair" at the Slovak National Museum.
