SMA Mini Series - Jess Low - A Courageous Mother with Impeccable Timing

Timing. Timing impacts EVERYTHING in this story. Their daughter Aubrey, was diagnosed at 2 months old with SMA Type 1. If you heard Jessica Janzen's story, this is also the same age that her son was diagnosed with SMA Type 1. The difference? Timing. Just 3 years, almost to the day later, from the day Lewiston was Diagnosed to the day Aubrey was diagnosed and there was a massive shift in the possible outcomes. Gaining access almost immediately to a life saving drug called Spinraza has made a massive impact on the Low families life. Now 5 years old, Aubrey is able to walk and play with her siblings. Thanks to work done by the Love for Lewiston foundation, the scientists behind Spinraza, and Zolgensma and the massive fight the Low family put up, to save their daughters life In the midst of borders closing due to Covid-19 pandemic, her husband quit his job, they sold their house and moved to a Covid Hotspot, to *hopefully* gain access to a medication that would severely impact their daughters life.
