Small Payroll, BIG Market! Rays Proved Every Doubter Wrong!
from DAE On Demand
Nick Wize is fired up about the Rays reaching the World Series, but he's pushing back against one familiar narrative: Tampa Bay is NOT a small market! Nick explains why having a low payroll doesn't change the fact that Tampa Bay is a Top 15 media market and why this World Series matchup is a tremendous showcase for how baseball should be played. Plus, Nick discusses the incredible opportunity for transplants to raise a new generation of Rays fans, while a caller celebrates the team's return to The Trop and its ability to prove every doubter wrong!
