Many pianists have played all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas over their career, and some have even played all of them over the course of a season in a concert hall, but almost nobody has ever attempted to play all 32 of them in one day. Canadian pianist Stewart Goodyear, in a program he calls Sonatathon, accomplished this feat with incredible artistry at the 2017 Savannah Music Festival.
