Shinedown singer Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers have a brand-new duos album coming out October 9th. It’s called “Smith & Myers Volume 1,” and it’s a collection of original and cover songs that the two started recording just before the pandemic forced everyone off the road and into lockdown. Restrictions finally loosened up enough for them to finish the album! They talk about the “Smith & Myers” song choices (including covers of INXS and Post Malone), the recording process, and the timing of this album. They also share some details about Shinedown’s upcoming 7th album, and tell road stories from their touring days with Van Halen and Iron Maiden!
