Sn 2 Ep 18: Faith in tough times
from The Adventist Voice · host Fredrick Omondi
In 1 Kings 17, God sends the prophet Elijah to a widow in Zarephath. Israel was in the midst of a 3-year drought that caused a massive famine and inflation. A donkey's head, which had never been a delicacy, was a preserve for the tables of nobles. It was bad. For her faith, the Widow of Zarephath obtained sustenance until rains came. In these tough times, our only hope is in the providence from God. Christ said that the same God who feeds the birds who sowest not, is the same God who values us above animals, to provide for our needs. Be encouraged.
