King Asa started so well. He trusted in the deliverance of God. He pulled down the altars for idol worship. He rallied the people of Judah to trust in the Lord and during his time, Judah enjoyed peace for a period of 35 years. Until materialism got the better of Asa and he shifted his trust to material possessions, earthly kings and physicians. Asa died a man who did not acknowledge God.
