The bible talks, in several passages about the refiner's fire. At the end of time when we shall be called forth from the grave to receive the rewards that has been kept for us, what shall your reward be? Christ says in the parable of the talents that everyone shall receive the rewards according to the works that they did here on earth. Have you ever wondered whether the works you are doing will go with you beyond the grave? Are your works gold, silver, bronze, wood, straw, or hay? Christ says that we should work to store our treasures in heaven where no rush or moth can eat them.
