The Last Chance Band is a high energy country band made up of four talented musicians. The band presents itself in a professional manner whether it’s their rehearsal, promotion or performance. The band is developed out of CDA but it fairly well-known throughout the Pacific Northwest. The band has recorded music locally and in Nashville but has only currently toured throughout the Northwest and they won an award for the best new country bands in the Inland Northwest! The Last Chance Band has opened for well-known names in the country music industry such as Randy Houser, Craig Morgan, Chase Rice and even played the stage of FarmJam Festival!https://thelastchanceband.comThe Last Chance Band is:Chance Long | Lead Singer/ Songwriter- Chance Long is the band leader along with lead vocals and guitar. Chance was raised in Rathdrum, ID but grew up north of Coeur d’Alene. His love of music developed at a young age and began playing in his very first bands throughout high school. Chance has toured most of the Pacific Northwest where he quickly attracted the other members of the Last Chance Band. He writes his music about personal experiences and has recorded not only locally but in Nashville as well! Steve Harms | Lead Guitar- Steve Harms is the lead guitarist behind the Last Chance Band. Steve grew up in Spokane, WA where he attended school and began his love and passion for music. Steve began with playing the piano but shortly switched to the acoustic guitar, it wasn’t until teens he picked up an electric guitar. Steve’s music style is shaped around the Blues and Rock of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. In Steve’s late teens, he discovered a hidden sound in country musicians that inspired a passion. The Last Chance Band had Steve officially join the band in 2016 after he was a member of numerous other bands. Nick Halpin | Drums/ Percussion- Nick Halpin is the energetic drummer and percussionist in the Last Chance Band since the band began. Nick is originally from Sandpoint, Idaho but a versatile drummer in the Spokane/ Coeur d’Alene area! When Nick was only 5 years old he began his music journey by playing the piano but throughout middle and high school, he discovered the guitar and trumpet while playing in his high school jazz and symphonic bands. Nick’s drumming career began sophomore year and hasn’t stopped but is also now a private instructor at the Post Falls Music Academy Creative Music Learning Center in Spokane. Nick now resides in Coeur d’Alene and continues to play, record and tour with the Last Chance Band. Lance Shew | Bassist- Lance Shew is the bassist in the Last Chance Band. Lance grew up in Leavenworth, Washington where he began his musical career. Lance began playing bass guitar when he was 14 years old and continued his growth throughout his bass guitar lessons. Once high school came to an end, Lance moved to Wenatchee where he attended college; while at college he played in WVC Jazz ensemble and had the ability to tour in Washington and Canada. Shortly after, he moved to Spokane, WA where he extended his music career after being enrolled hi S.S.C.C and was offered scholarship to Gonzaga University after playing in a Jazz ensemble, Lance joined a worship team where he worked alongside AGT runner up Cami Jane Bradley and Lance has also co-wrote, performed and was involved in the production of three of Dax Johnson’s albums. Lance spends most time, currently, playing with the Last Chance Band.
