The Music Industry Evolves - With Rock & Roll Legends Peter Asher, Skunk Baxter & Richard Gibbs interviewed by Mike GormleyThe State of the Music IndustryPeter Baxter - Peter Asher is a British guitarist, singer, manager and record producer. He came to prominence in the 1960s as a member of the pop music vocal duo Peter and Gordon before going on to a successful career as a manager and record producer. He was responsible for signing James Taylor with Apple Records and managing Linda Rondstadt. In 2019, Asher published a book The Beatles from A to Zed about his personal reminiscences about the band.Skunk Baxter -Jeffrey Allen "Skunk" Baxter is an American guitarist, known for his stints in the rock bands Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers during the 1970s and Spirit in the 1980s.
