She has affected not only her children with her selflessness, her never-ending generosity to everyone she knows, and her boundless energy and optimism for everything that she does in life.She met my father at 17 and had me at 18. They spent their entire lives together until he passed away a few years ago in 2015. So, at the age of 64 she suddenly found herself alone for the first time in her life.She took up yoga twice a week and gets up everyday at 4:30 to make her spin class at 5:30. She rushes home to greet the parents of the infants and toddlers that she takes care by 8 am. She spends her Thursdays supporting the Folk Orchestra of Santa Barbara and her weekends walking or making pies for those she gets “inspired by”My favorite mom on planet earth…Franny Higgins!
