SNDP 291: WEEK 1 AND BASEBALL STRETCH RUN

Welcome to September, the guys are back to start a brand-new month. It is time for pennant races for baseball and the 1st week of the NFL season. The Mets are fighting their way back into the division race with the Braves and Phillies. Is it too little too late? Is there time left in September for a magical run to the division? We break down the vibes we are feeling during this two-week stretch vs the Nats and Marlins to get them back into the thick of it.  We hope they continue to play well vs better opponents after this series with the Marlins. This weekend is a huge one vs the Yankees. It will be an interesting test for the Mets. Speaking of the Yankees, they have hit a big slump after a hot August. They have dipped into a very cold streak. What will it take for the Yankees to hold on to a wild card spot at the end of the season? They have the talent to break out of this slump and not be badly damaged in the race. We shall see. We move onto Football, we are doing something different this season, we are using the Espn Pigskin Pickem game with spreads this year and keeping real records this year. We went through each week 1 game and picked it for our pool. We all agreed that we all make the picks on our pod and not change them or look at the pool until Sunday to keep up with the pool. Completely scouts honor we are going to have a lot of fun with this pool. May the best guy win. To close out the show we remember the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that happened on 9/11/2001. We are with all of those people to this day that is still affected by that awful day.
