Welcome to Episode 173!  Just like Season 5 of Painted Trash is heating up, so is the awards season for film-making with the Academy Award Nominations being announced recently.  While there certainly were plenty or expected announcements, there certainly were some surprises, just like there always is.

This week, The Boys are sitting down and chatting about who wasn't nominated; and boy oh boy to people have some thoughts and feelings on a few of the names missing from the noms.  They call those "snubs" and as you might expect, Casey & Mark have some thoughts and feelings about the snubbery and the controversy surrounding the butt-hurt feelings all over the social-meeds.  Painted Trash listeners, callers, readers, and, obviously, the writers (maybe even a couple of viewers) are well-versed in the happenings but Mark & Casey are gonna lean in to this conversation -- and not just the two folks are worked up about.

But first, kicking things off, The Boys are discussing an outing to celebrate a birthday guy this week and Casey is spilling the tea on himself and, kids, it is layered, self-effacing trouble.  Later, Trash talk topics include Stiletto's fall to her knees, Republican border trash, a historic, on-brand artifact up for auction in the UK, and exclusive tea on the lawsuit against our Queen (of pop)!

All that and recommendations too!

You don't wanna miss this one! The colors are out and they're glowing bright.  So getcha some port vintage, make sure that diaper is clean and empty, and pull up a seat to the table with your GBFFs.  it's time to Paint!
