Snuggled Days turned to weeks; pain expanded While desire pushed back and demanded The touch of your skin pressed ever so tight Those eyes, gazing at me awash in delight Times we cried, reached but couldn’t touch Longed to launch into an embrace so much Those days and nights alone babe we severely struggled But the entire sad affair was gone the second we snuggled You can search forever looking for someone to love Sometimes you look too low while the answer is above Other times you give up cause it’s all just too much of a chore I felt all of that, but I knew from the start that this was so much more Times we cried, reached but couldn’t touch Longed to launch into an embrace so much Those days and nights alone babe we severely struggled But the entire sad affair was gone the second we snuggled Moped around and hung my head Felt like part of me was already dead All those ugly nights I just struggled Baby they disappeared as soon as we snuggled Oh!
