SNV Special Interview: Reform And Revolution's Response To DSA In Crisis

Recorded (2/9/2023) and Uploaded (2/23/2023) In this Special Interview I speak with Ramy Khalil a substitute teacher who is active in the Seattle Education Association and on the Leadership Body of Seattle Democratic Socialists of America. Khalil is also a member of the Reform and Revolution Caucus of DSA (https://reformandrevolution.org/) which calls itself "a Marxist caucus of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)." We discuss DSA members of Congress who voted to ban a railroad worker strike as well Jamaal Bowman's vote to fund the Israeli Military. Khalil says Democratic Socialists of America is in "a slow-motion crisis" but says that people deciding to drop-out at this time would be "premature." Instead Khalil says members should stay involved in DSA and help improve it.
