So That You May Fully Share Our Joy - 1 John 1:1-4

We are beginning a mini series on the book of 1 John! This week we read chapter 1 verses 1-4. The author, who is believed to be John, begins with statements similar to the gospel of John. He writes that Jesus was in the beginning and He is the Word of life. He explains that he was an eyewitness of Jesus so his testimony is reliable. In verse 4, he explains his intentions for writing this is that others may know Jesus, and share in their joy! May we share the joy we have with others around us! May we witness to all God has done in our lives!
