All right, so the other night I went to a play, well, it was, it was, it was the theater group that my son Tyler is in called theater exception, it's really fantastic group. They do a really major play every summer, but this year they didn't because of a lot of things going on, but they had a showcase, they had a Halloween showcase and I went to it and it was absolutely delightful. I had such a wonderful time where I ran into somebody I've known for years and the somebody that I've known for years has always been doing something else with his life, but when I said, how are you doing? What are you doing?

You know, and he goes, I just became a life coach. I said, what? He goes, I've become a life coach. I think we're going to talk about that a little bit.

Hello, and welcome to the Daily Grateful on this beautiful Monday as we are working our way out of October, coming up to Halloween, and then November. And then in November, what happens in, oh, yeah, we have that Thanksgiving thing. And then after Thanksgiving, then we go into the Christmas thing. I really like, I really like New Year's Eve.

Number one, I don't do anything. I stay home on New Year's Eve. I don't go out. The last thing I went on for New Year's Eve is I took a bunch of the kids to see the Bear Naked Ladies in Town Town Tampa, which made me nervous as hell.

It was a cool show. I mean, it was an absolutely cool show. You know, the Bear Naked Ladies, a Canadian group, fantastic. They had precision shopping cart, things going on there.

I mean, great show. But anyway, on New Year's Eve, my happy ass is right here in my home. And I usually go to bed by about 10, 30. When Dick Clark was still alive, I would stay up sometimes, not all the time.

And watch Dick Clark, you know, do the ball drop and all that good times. I don't know. And I just don't. But then the next day is the first, and I love the first.

I absolutely love the first. Anyway, I want to talk a little bit today about something that I have been noticing when I ran into this guy that I hadn't seen a long time. And the profession that he was in before was more of a mechanical type profession. And now, you know, he's a life coach.

So I said, how do you become a life coach? He goes, oh, I did it online. I said, you did it online. I said, yeah, yeah, I became a life.

I took these class up. How long was the classes? I got a wrap up in about an hour. I said, how much did it cost?

I said $7. And I said, oh, okay, that's, and are you making money doing this? He goes, well, not yet, but I'm fixing to get ready to make money doing this. Oh, good.

I mean, what is a life coach? Number one, what the hell is a life coach? And I should probably type that into Google because I'm not even sure what it is. Let's do that.

Let us say, what is a life coach? I'm typing with one finger. And this is just riveting audio, me typing this in. A life coach is a wellness professional who helps people achieve their goals and improve their lives.

They work with clients who identify their goal to identify their goals, set a plan, overcome obstacles. Life coaches can help. In a variety of areas, including career, relationships, self-care, day to day, financial security, balancing work in personal life, making key decisions. Oh, man.

Okay. I got to take a breath. Let's see. What else?

Identifying core values. Okay. By the time you hire a life coach, you don't know what your core, never mind. Fulfilling personal and emotional needs.

That's what a life coach is. So how does one become a life coach? Well, according to the Google also, because I typed this out another tab. No formal requirements to become a life coach.

Oh, that's good. And, uh, but you can take steps to build your credibility and skills and establish your business online. Okay. Find an each.

Consider what area of life you want to focus on, such as personal, professional, or romantic. Ooh. Okay. Married and divorced three times.

Yeah. I'm going to do the romantic one. Yeah. You know, you know, you strip as much as I have, you know, maybe something to be learned.

I don't know. We are planning my whole new life career right here. All right. I thought it was going to be a podcaster.

You know, after radio podcast. No, I'm going to be a light coach. I'm not required certification can help build credibility and hone your skills. Some niches like mental health may require certification.

You can look for programs approved by organizations that set industry standards, such as the International Coaching Federation. Never heard of them. Some programs include IPC coach training, coach, coach training, like coach university coach training Alliance Trump university. I'm only kidding.

Um, okay. And then it tells you how to build your business. Oh, and there's a link to a video here, a 10 K a month as a life coach, always a lady with wonderful teeth. I swear on these.

I never mind. Uh, so after this, I went on the tiki talk and then I went on other parts of the internet to determine what is the best. And I found the ad. I found the ad.

I found the ad that this guy did for $7. You will be a certified, uh, life coach. They also have the same company will make you a certified NLP coach. Okay.

Uh, NLP stands for neuro linguistic programming. You ever see Tony Robbins? Okay. That's what he does or what he did.

Neural linguistic programming. It's basically a form of hypnosis. I've read some books on it. It's interesting.

And since I read the book, does that certify me to be an NLP coach? Because you know, instead of paying $7 and just getting the certificate, I actually read two books on it. Okay. I read two books about neuro linguistic programming studied it years ago.

I, I think I'm, I think I'm a certified NLP coach. I really think I am Wow, holy man. This is cool. I'm becoming old enough literates.

It's, I have a headache. So, and let's see here's sponsored. This is a company that will life coach master's degree. Find your purpose.

Uh, how would you like to attend online? Of course. Select a program. I want to know what this costs.

Um, I think I got healing health psychology, human factors, psychology, uh, life coaching. Here we go. Life coaching. Next.

What was, are you or your spouse affiliated with US military? No. Do you have a high school or college, uh, or university credits from another country, not from another country? Are you a citizen?

Yes. What's, I, I want to know what this costs. I want to know what you want you to fill in your name and all that stuff and your phone numbers so they can call and do a high pressure sales call. I'm not going to do that.

But, um, you know, uh, there's courses out there for seven bucks for $25 for $29.99. You can become a life coach. Well, I have determined that I am a life coach. Now, many, many years ago, I read a book and, uh, it was a book written by a guy.

I got to say, don't remember his name. But he has something called the leapfrog theory on being a successful businessman or being a success in whatever you are. I, for one, am one of the nation's top authorities on diatomaceous earth as a natural pesticide and soil conditioner. I am known throughout the country as a, you know, an authority on this.

You know how I'm known as that? I said I was and nobody's ever disputed it. This is what he says. Tell them that you are the very best at blank, blank, blank and just put that in your advertising.

And then you were doing it. It's called the leapfrog effect. People say, yeah, he is. He is.

That is him. And the guy's name was Richard Wringer, who wrote the book. He self published it at first. And then somebody picked it up.

I forget the name of the book. But yeah, I have the book around here somewhere. I bought it years ago. I don't get rid of books.

I get rid of wives and dogs, but not books. But, uh, but anyhow, if you say that you are the authority and I am the authority, uh, then you are. It is, it is that simple. If you say you're a life coach, you are and I, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I, Michael crows, am your life coach.

If you would like me to coach your life, you can write to me at michael.crows at gmail.com or better yet, zelmy, I don't know, 500 bucks or 500 bucks, you get me as your life coach for a two hour session. I will sit down with you and I'll tell you exactly what to do with your life. I will coach you. That's that because I am a life coach and I am an NLP coach.

I can help you with that too. All right. This has been fun. We'll see you tomorrow.
