Jesus sure didn't make it easy to join His team! For those who want to apply to be one of His followers, Jesus set the bar very high and very deep: self denial, the pain of death, the loss of life. Jesus certainly came to bring life, and life eternal, but His grace is not cheap. No wonder the gate is narrow and few are those who find the way.
