SOAPBOX S5.E4_Vax Facts

In this episode, we take a break from the energy sector episodes for a moment to discuss COVID-19 vaccines, particularly in the context of Trinidad and Tobago and where we are in response to the pandemic. More importantly, we have Virology Laboratory Technologist Neeta Oudit as our guest, and she will be discussing: What a vaccine is and what it does, how these COVID-19 vaccines are made, vaccine effectiveness vs efficacy and the risks and benefits of getting vaccinated. As a frontline worker, we thank Neeta for all that she is doing to keep the population safe, and for taking the time to chat with us! ~Originally aired 6th June 2021~ #GetOnYourSOAPBOX #SOAPBOX #Season5 #VACCINES
