Midnight darkness covered lands High on tower old man stands Ringing sounds of iron plates Watchmen shouting "Close the gates" Guard the fort, the old man swore With full strength he blew his horn Waits for men whence strong as stone Protectors of golden throne Through the darknsess with no fear Old man and his wooden spear All alone moves through the street Finds the men drink beer and mead Ran through gate for them to see Outside ain't no enemy Drunken guards in puddle crawl They fell from the castle wall
