Soca Dimensions #1 Mixtape [Groovy Soca]

Soca Dimensions #1 is the first Soca mixtape in Poland since 2004 when Dreadsquad released their "WySOCA Temperatura" mixtape. Until Zilla joined Splendid, we weren't really into anything but Reggae and Dancehall from the Caribbean overlooking everything else that was released there. However, for the last 2 years we've been featuring more and more Soca in our sets promoting it locally. In the meantime, Soca Poland started spreading the vibe through dance (big up DHQ Lavinia!) thanks to what it's getting more and more recognition. Soca is not only nice dancning music, though! It's the rythm that has been rocking the Caribbean for decades culminating in a crazy carnival. It's also a great representation of the Trini society blending African as well as Indian influences into this crazy mixture. Unfortunately, no carinval will probably happen this season, so check out our mix and get ready for the next carnival season! Even compared to Rio, this is a real raw, energetic bomb! We hope you'll get some of this energy to cope with these difficult times. This is only part 1 and part 2 is already in the making. Like the name suggests, we're trying to showacase different levels to Soca. This one features the calmer version of it - it's Groovy Soca. The next one will be the real bomb with Power Soca.
