What this episode covers
On our very first Mailbag and Weekend Review show, Gass takes a few questions from the Soccerwise producers and addresses some of the biggest items from this past weekend in NWSL and MLS. You’ll hear about the late-game magic produced by FC Cincinnati’s dynamic duo, Lucho Acosta and Yuya Kubo. Gass also touches on Shaqiri’s potential divorce from the Chicago Fire, and whether Kai Wagner’s comments about the Union’s spending have merit. Then, we shift to NWSL action to discuss Saturday night’s dramatic draw between San Diego and Washington at a sold-out Audi Field, as well as Gass’ observations from the away wins by Utah and Gotham. Finally, Gass will give you his personal picks for “Best Team to Watch” and his “Top 3 Young Players” in MLS and the NWSL. Make sure to catch us live on YouTube or Twitch at 2pm ET every Tuesday (with Gass and Tom), Wednesday (with Gass and Jordan), and Thursday (with Gass and Tom).
