SOCIAL DANCE est né à Marseille de l’imaginaire de 3 meilleurs amis. Faustine, Thomas et Ange vivent et composent leur musique ensemble. Forts de leur amitié harmonieuse et de leurs premières compositions, la triplette phocéenne fonde les bases de sa pop décomplexée et absurde. On peut déjà déceler dans leur style l’influence cruciale des transes de Talking Heads, des syncopes électroniques de LCD Soundsystem et l’esprit des Rita Mitsouko. Un peu plus d’un an après les “Rumeurs" échappées de leur premier EP dont le tubesque “Parler”, le trio marseillais Social Dance fait une ”Volte-Face” avec ce nouvel EP sorti le 17 mai, qui confirme leur succès grandissant. Quelques coups d’éclats médiatiques et soixante concerts plus tard (dont les Transmusicales de Rennes), ce deuxième EP invoque plus que jamais la pop euphorisante et rassembleuse, dans laquelle Faustine, Ange et Thomas déploient une énergie largement plébiscitée sur scène. Ils sont en concert à Nîmes le jeudi 11 juillet grâce au Musight Club pour le festival Une Salle Sous Les Etoiles
