What is CosmoKidz? And what is the goal?...Today, Abbie explores CosmoKidz-- a social-emotional learning program created by the CMM Insitute, designed to teach children empathy and healthy communication skills. Abbie talks about how CosmoKidz was developed through a collaborative co-construction process involving kids; the value in making the implicit explicit by teaching kids "soft skills" like empathy and communication; and why it is important for kids to learn these skills, language, and tools while they are young (because kids with emotional intelligence grow into adults with emotional intelligence)....Stories Lived.
