Though these aspects of learning have always been important, the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic heightened the need to address the social and emotional aspects of learning, not only for students and their families, but also for teachers, school leaders and administrators. The use of technology to meet these social and emotional essentials has also been heightened over the past months. Today educators are challenged to think about how technology can enhance and/or diminish the social-emotional needs they must address. In this edWeb podcast, three innovative, compassionate superintendents share how they address the social and emotional needs of the students, staff, and families in their school districts.
