We live in a digital world that has and is changing how we live and who we are. It is imperative that as disciples of Jesus, we wisely consider how to live in this brave new world and make the best use our time for the sake of our sanity, our families and the glory of God. In this series we will explore how to think about technology from a Biblical worldview; understand how screens and scrolling in particular are rewiring us and our lives; consider how to engage with social media when it comes to ideas and ideologies; process how to best navigate friendship and romance in the online space; as well as to engage culture and connect our faith with what we watch, read and play.In this sermon Kyle explores the social side of social media and with some questions from Romans 12 weighs up the pros and cons of friendship and dating online.We are a new church in Cape Town, passionate about Jesus and the people of this city.
