He co-founded Yupi Internet, a major international player in the Hispanic search engine market that raised more than $150 million in capital from companies like Sony and Comcast in 1996 while working on his computer science degree at Florida Atlantic University. He went on to start several other lucrative tech companies including mortgage search engine, LoanSifter.
