This time I go totally off the normal beaten track and talk about search engines and social media and that they're pretty much stacked against the little guy or the "outsider". Let's face it. Celebrity and controversy get more traction than content. So to heck with it. Time to do things your way.  Enjoy the doing and let the rest of it rot.    And a special shout out to The Happy Whisk and the usual features.  D&D Boot Camp and I continue reading from Greyhawk. Skylab: Living and Working in Space Phillip Brooker I started some research in Summer 2019 on NASA's Skylab 4 mission - infamous for being (allegedly, though wrongly) the first and only strike in space. So here's a work-in-progress podcast mini-series that traces my progress with the research as it's playing out. Anyone who's interested in things like Science & Technology Studies, ethnomethodology and conversation analysis, and work-related disputes about workload/dataification/etc, have a listen and let me know what you think (I'm on Twitter at @pdbrooker and Mastodon @[email protected]), thanks! Explicit Bats, Caps and Sunflower Seeds. Ash and Ian Two friends who met playing baseball decided to do a podcast about, yeah, you guessed it, baseball. Ashley who had no prior experience with this sport thought it would be a good idea to join a team. Ian, who grew up watching it with his family for more years then he cares to admit. Join us as we discuss baseball from the grassroots up. From our delayed season start of the newly developed East of England Baseball League (EEBL) to the MLB. We hope this will encourage you to pick up a bat and give it a go, learn something or at the very least, something to chuckle at. What could go wrong? "I consider the genre I love to be more of an underground group of bands that deserve to get more exposure. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Pennywise, Lagwagon, Strung Out (and other similar bands) with a passion, but the new music that really gets me fired up as of late, has a hint of metal to it, which brings an extra level of AMP! to the table.""I have always loved performing in some way shape or form, whether it has been on stage playing or behind the mic, focused on the voice only approach, so I decided to bring the music I was passionate about to the airwaves or internet-waves, as it has now morphed to a podcast."
