Socialist Society

from Black Politics Today · host Black Politics Today

Senator Bernie Sanders, a self proclaimed socialist has steadily maintained his spot in the top tier of candidates throughout the 2020 Presidential race. Following up from his 2016 run, grabbing delegates and donors along the way, Senator Sanders has freely spoken about his Medicare-for-All plan and his plan to have tuition-free college education. The question remains, will a Sanders candidacy be able to compete in a general election? Additionally, we'll discuss the impeachment proceedings and the impact that they will have on the nation and our rule of law and our constitution. Fortunately, congress has been able to establish a pathway for true American's to step up and uphold the constitution and keep their integrit and loyalty to this country and our constitution.   Joining me tonight to discuss this and more, is Progressive political strategist Rebekah Caruthers and former State Senator and Bernie Sanders surrogate, Vincent Fort.
