"Society VS Addiction" Interview with Timothy Harrington

In this episode, I had the pleasure of meeting with Timothy Harrington who is the Chief Empowerment Officer of Family Addiction Recovery Coaching Services. We begin a discussion on Tim's amazing recovery story and how he overcame many obstacles to get him to the place he is today. We then get into the concept of stigma and how it has a hindering effect on people in our lives and communities. Tim is a true Pioneer in the field of recovery. Tim is also a loud and persistent voice in the field of mental and emotional health advocacy, addiction treatment, and recovery. He is an active participant in the movement to reduce addiction and mental illness-related stigma.
