When news broke Monday morning that the Miami Dolphins had traded Jaelan Phillips to Philadelphia for a 3rd round picks in the 2026 draft, most Dolphins fans expected at least one more trade to free up cap space and add draft capital. None materialized. Now the Dolphins find themselves in a division with the dominant Buffalo Bills, a resurgent New England Patriots team, and the NY Jets, who are loaded with draft capital and fully embracing a tank and rebuild strategy.
