SOFTBALL: No Mo Runs Allowed: Senior P Mariah Ramirez
from Weber State Weekly · host Walk-On Sports
It's our first returning Softball guest this week as we welcome back Senior Pitcher and 2021 Big Sky Pitcher of the Year Mariah Ramirez to the show. We'll talk to her about her season and being part of the lethal one, two-punch the Wildcats boasted out of the bullpen. The Wildcats popped the champagne at home last weekend, sweeping their way through the conference tournament in run-rule fashion to claim the 2022 Big Sky Softball Tournament championship. We'll talk through the action and the historic run that culminated in a Weber State title. Then, we'll preview the Wildcats' upcoming NCAA Regionals matchup in Seattle with #15 Texas. The Longhorns were surprised they weren't hosting in this year's tournament. What can Wildcat fans expect to see on Friday afternoon as they face off with Weber State for just the third time in program history? Special thanks to our sponsor, Studio NINE 8. Check out their selection of custom made rings on their website, StudioNINE8.com. Made by Wildcats, for Wildcats.
