Softball starts strong, Women's Hoops wins again, and much more | Majority Rules

from Rock M Radio: A University of Missouri podcast · host FFSN

The whole gang is back together for a new episode of Majority Rules! First up is Mizzou WBB's surprising win at Texas A&M and Dylan & Quentin let us know what that may mean for the rest of the schedule. Since the MS State win, this team is looking much better and seems to be having FUN. Next up is Softball, as the #15 Tigers opened their season with a 4-1 record in Florida, including a massive revenge win over #8 Duke 10-3. Karen, Dylan & Quentin discuss what they're seeing of LA's squad thus far, what the Duke wins means to the team, and how improvement is expected for this young core as the season progresses. Karen's being a slight downer, probably from the UCF loss that just wrapped up in infuriating fashion. Baseball kicks off their season in Puerto Rico this weekend and it's hard to know what to expect, but they'll look good, asthe group gets into a spirited discussion about the new unis. Team Script Tigers!Track & Field is next on the agenda, and Abigail recaps the awesomeness of the jumps team, as well as how much fun this team has been to watch in person the last few weeks. Rory then provides some updates for W Tennis, who continues to win in the non-con, and M Golf, who kicked off their spring season with not the best start. Matthew then provides some injury updates and expectations for Tiger Style, before Karen provides some takeaways from Tiger Gym's recent Braggin Rights victory in Champaign. The Tigers are looking good, and the improvement, vault aside, is evident! Rory then closes out the in-season updates with what's to come for Swim & Dive, who are prepping for SECs and she got a chance to talk to Coach Grevers about it. Finally, to close out the show, Matthew's got some volleyball roster updates, and another former Tiger goes pro!
