SOH Retrospectives - The 1998 Canadian Olympic Team

Its the first time ever for NHL players to participate in the Olympics. And coming off the 1996 World Cup, things couldn't have been more up in the air than they were for this tournament in terms of who could win. The US and Canada were co-favourites, the Russians are always dangerous (though not icing their best team), as are the Swedes, and you never know who else could emerge....spoiler alert...it's the Czech's.In this episode I go through the roster selection, the snubs (in the moment), the misfortune's that Canada suffered along the way, and why they probably just simply had awful luck (not just against the Czech's).
