Solana Weekly: #7 - Down, but NOT out

Sol price wicked to $8.00, sitting at $8.38, from about 12 earlier in the week. Not great. Big tanking energy right now. SolEth headed off a Cliff at .007.Economy as a whole is on the fritz. Tech is down bad. Crypto is down bad, btc, eth, down bad. So yes Solana is also down bad. But it’s down more than other’s due to the narrative being absolutely nuked. FTX, Multicoin, 3AC, numerous defi hacks, a wallet drainer. What do we do? At this point, I’m just holding and looking for spots to buy in for some more. Degods and y00tz to Eth and Polygon. Polygon’s bd strategy of paying to play. Solana Monkey Business is voting to change up leadership. Shrink the board and get Nom in as the CEO. Pumped about it. Bonk! I freakin Called it. Airdrops to communities bringing the whole Sol economy together. Shoe Ventures coming through with some fun in this bear market and giving us something to cheer for. There were hints in the Crypto Duck Punks Dao. Projects I checked out: Ottr finance - kind of like a Venmo for Solana. I deposited some USDC and sent to my wallet. Love seeing super easy ways to on-ramp and these type of projects are awesome. I found a bug that was crashing the app, tweeted out, and they had a fix out in like an hour. So id say that’s a pretty solid team. Read a great thread on the possibilities of Helium’s move to Solana. Decentralized internet coming to Solana! Pair it with the phone coming out early next year and you have a fully operational hardware stack for the internet. Jim Cramer, that’s right, that Jim Cramer, said that only idiots are holding Solana. He’s taking everything I’m working for. But for real, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, this guy is like crack to boomer’s and Finish on resiliency. High risk, high reward, we are seeing the other side of the risk right now. It’s tough. People are losing serious amounts of money. I am not overinvested but it takes a toll to be down so much.
