Solar Rights Alliance Podcast, Special Alert: Newsom Administration proposes to break 2 million solar contracts

Welcome to the Solar Rights Alliance Podcast, where we help you defend the freedom and independence of rooftop solar with our hosts: Dave Rosenfeld, Executive Director, and Cailey Underhill, Advocacy and Development Director. In this episode we hear from solar users around the state sounding the alarm about Governor Newsom's CPUC proposal to break your solar contract, slash your solar credit, and slap you with a solar tax. We explain how these changes would apply to ALL solar customers who signed up for solar before April 2023 (NEM1 and NEM2), and that our best chance of stopping this proposal is to make it Dead On Arrival in the State Legislature. This is a red alert. Please send your state Assemblymember and Senator a message right now. Then call their offices. Then share this message with three friends, or a thousand. Here are all the tools you need for each action:https://solarrights.org/dontbreakthecontract-action/Full transcript of this podcast: https://bit.ly/SolarRightsAlliancePodcast-Episode1Transcript
