Raymond grew up in a gang neighborhood in Riverside, CA. He was kicked out of two high schools and ended up enlisting in the Army to serve in the Infantry. During a combat tour in Iraq, Raymond was shot by a sniper. He eventually recovered from his wound and got back in the fight.
