As a youth and prior to their world-wide acclaim DJ Belal had the honor of being the DJ for iconic rap artist such as Rakim, Biz Markie, Craig Mack, Chubb Rock & Actor Daryl "Chill" Mitchell & Biz Markie. DJ Belal was portrayed by Martin Lawrence in the Hudlin brother's cult-classic hit movie "House Party".
