Kamari Bell at the premier of the documentary It Was All a Dream. The year is 1993 and hip-hop is primed for its eventual global takeover. Wu-Tang’s “Enter The Wu-Tang” and A Tribe Called Quest’s “Midnight Marauders” are released on the same day, Salt-N-Pepa’s fourth album “Very Necessary” pushes them into the mainstream while Doggystyle breaks into the Billboard 200 at number one, and all this is just the tip of the iceberg.
