Springtime in New York City is a special time in the big apple. It’s crown jewel is the Tribeca Festival which returned this year for its 21st installment. This year featured another sweeping bill of fare. In addition to all of its incredible programming spanning the world of Documentary, Feature and Short Film, Television, Talks, Podcasting and Gaming, the festival took a new approach with amplifying Black voices, with a slate of programming featuring deeply emotional films and creator talks. Sole Free and Harlan Friedman in association with Drake Media TV spent two weeks on site chatting with so many of the stars and world renowned personalities to tell their personal stories.
