[Solid Ground] #13 - Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing (Luke 5:33-6:11)

Have you ever confused the means with the end? It seems the Pharisees who encountered Jesus had potentially misplaced their priority on the 'means' God had given (i.e. the Law) and their traditions, and in doing so had missed the 'end': the joy of relationship with Almighty God. As they challenge Jesus on His apparent disregard for the Law and tradition, Jesus seeks to clarify who He truly is and what it means to follow Him - part of which is to 'Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing'. In other words, continue to pursue Jesus - He is the Ultimate and all-satisfying goal. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
