Solo Ep. How to contact leaders in High Performance Sport

from How did you get into sport? · host Luis Resa

Send us Fan MailThe field of high performance sport is one of the most competitive industries in the world. Universities and Associations are pumping out countless numbers of Physiotherapists, Sport Scientists, S&C coaches, Dieticians etc. and it only takes doing a little simple math to work out there are hundreds of professionals being churned out each year.To make it even more competitive these new graduates are competing for only a handful of professional sporting jobs along with the hundreds of thousands who are already qualified professionals in the field. But there is a way you can put yourself ahead of the game and it’s an ability to be able to talk and build relationships with leaders who are already in professional sport who may be able to assist with recommendations, provide council or who may actually be at the time looking for someone and you happen to be the exact right person for the role. But this can be hard. As more than ever it is far more difficult to acquire the contact details of these individuals to be able to contact them in the first place. In this solo episode I show you the ability to acquire the contact details of any leader in the field of high performance which I have learnt through trial and error over many years. And it is these initial interactions that have led to establishing some strong and mutually fruitful relationships with numerous exceptional individuals in professional sport. Host: Luis ResaContact me on:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/luis-resa-a975196b/Email: [email protected] for listening and please leave a review.
